Christine Adali and Susanne Hardvendel
Your Liberal Democrat candidates for the Beaconsfield Ward
Christine Adali
Christine has lived in Beaconsfield for over a decade. She had a career in marketing and product development and currently works as an administrator at St Thomas’, St Michael’s and St Mary’s Churches.
Christine is a current Beaconsfield town councillor, governor at Holtspur Primary School, and trustee for Better Connected Beaconsfield and several other local charities.
As a councillor, Christine has been determined to ensure residents' voices are heard. She has raised issues such as obstructed pavements and inadequate road repairs and ensured the council objects to the proposed closure of Seeley House. She is concerned that Bucks Council is not listening to its residents, especially on issues such as social care, and wants to make sure that all residents' views are heard and listened to.

Susanne Hardvendel
Susanne is an architect by trade and runs her own local design business in Beaconsfield, where she has lived with her family for the last 12 years.
As a Beaconsfield town councillor and member of the planning and open spaces committees, Susanne is committed to enhancing the town’s green infrastructure and ensuring that open spaces remain accessible to all. She has campaigned for additional rubbish and dog waste bins to keep our community clean.
Susanne is particularly concerned about the lack of a local plan and the Conservative council's inability to deliver one for Buckinghamshire. Without a current plan, our green spaces are at risk from inappropriate development. As a Bucks councillor, Susanne would prioritise the delivery of a local plan that provides the needed local infrastructure while protecting green spaces.

Our Priorities for Beaconsfield
These elections present a clear choice: moving forwards with the Liberal Democrats or 4 more years of failure from the Conservatives.
✅ Delivering Value for Money
With people worrying about the cost of living the Conservatives have put up taxes, yet the roads are still full of holes.
The Liberal Democrats would cut waste and get better value from your money.
✅ Better Health and Social Care
Many local residents still struggle to get NHS appointments when they need them.
Liberal Democrats would ensure investment in health and social care goes hand in hand with any new development.
✅ Standing up for our Green Spaces
The Conservative council’s failure to deliver a local plan has left our countryside open to a developer free-for-all.
Liberal Democrats would prioritise a new local plan ensuring communities have a say in protecting our green spaces.
